A product shapes you every time you use it. A little or a lot, consciously or not — that's how it has always been with human-made tools. Language shapes our thinking, the book our memory, the internet our attention. The question isn't whether our products develop us. It's whether we built them with that intention. And whether we dare to measure it: not just how well the product solves a task, not just how beautifully it's designed, but whether you stand stronger after using it.
